The Datalogic QD2430-BKK1 QuickScan handheld barcode scanner is black, comes with a USB cable, and can be used to scan and decode linear one-dimensional (1D), two-dimensional (2D), and Portable Document Format 417 (PDF417) barcodes. A laser produces lines of light in an omnidirectional pattern to scan barcodes at different angles. A green spot can help the user aim the barcode reader for accuracy.
