The German 'Jagdpanzer 38(t)' (Sd.Kfz.138), a tank destroyer from World War II, was developed in 1940-41 on the Czech 38(t) tank chassis. It was armed with a 4.7 cm PaK(t) anti-tank gun and had a crew of four. Production began in 1941 and continued until 1942, with around 650 units built. Despite its effectiveness, the 'Jagdpanzer 38(t)' was eventually replaced by more advanced designs. Its simple design and reliable Czech chassis made it a formidable weapon on the battlefield.
